Heavy Duty Industrial Racking

1. Some safety warning signs can be installed at suitable locations. The content of the warning sign can include the carrying range of the shelf, the prohibition of non-staff personnel from entering the working channel, and the contact information of racking heavy duty, so as to facilitate timely contact when problems arise. It is also possible to post some eye-catching anti-collision stickers in some places where collisions are prone to occur.

2. Before heavy duty industrial racking is used, train the rack users. After the shelf manufacturers have installed and accepted the shelves, it is necessary to train the operators of the shelves. The personnel who need to participate in the training include warehouse staff, especially forklift drivers. The content of the training is first of all the things that need to be paid attention to during the process of depositing and picking up goods. First of all, pallet racking suppliers must inform the operators of the maximum load capacity of each shelf. Operators are prohibited from overloading during use and pick up goods within the range of the rack’s load capacity. In addition, it is necessary to inform the operator to place the goods evenly during the process of depositing and picking up the goods, so as to avoid storing the goods on the shelves together, otherwise it will easily cause deformation and damage of the shelves. At the same time, in the process of stocking goods, we should also pay attention to anticlimax, that is, put heavy goods on the top layer and light goods on the bottom layer, which is not conducive to the shelf quality and stability. Especially for narrow-aisle shelves (forklifts have a very narrow working channel), through-type shelves (forklifts need to enter the interior of the shelf) and other special shelves, it is especially necessary to strengthen the driving technical training for forklift drivers to prevent accidents caused by forklift drivers. Hitting the shelves.

3. Install some anti-collision equipment. Anti-collision equipment is particularly important for shelves that work with forklifts. Many shelf safety accidents are caused by forklifts accidentally hitting the shelves during work, causing the shelves to tilt and collapse, and then become safety accidents. Shelf manufacturers generally recommend that customers be equipped with some anti-collision equipment when designing shelves, including anti-collision guardrails, corner guards, guard rails, etc. The use of anti-collision equipment can prevent or reduce forklifts from colliding with shelves.
